THE ICONOGRAPHY SCHOOL

Courses for providing keys to access sacred art.

The Iconography School, in addition to the artistic-spiritual purposes, is committed to promoting paths of openness, knowledge and dialogue with the Byzantine oriental world.

The Iconography school was founded in 1995 by the Superior Brother Francesco Guidorizzi of the Congregation of the Poor Servants of Divine Providence (Opera San Giovanni Calabria) in Verona, who governs the monastic complex.

It is led by the iconographers Giovanni Mezzalira from Bressanvido (VI) and Enrico Bertaboni from San Felice del Benaco (BS). It carries out its activity in the Abbey laboratories throughout the year with many different courses.

The courses are open to everyone and aim at providing keys to access sacred art.
